Ballet exams are an exciting way to work towards a goal while developing a strong Ballet foundation. Exams set standards and reward achievement. At Strictly Dance we teach the Vagonava Method of Ballet and students are entered into CDTA (Canadian Dance Teachers Association) examinations. Exams take place once students are at the technical standard to successfully pass the exam. Examinations are taken at the end of June each season and are held at the studio. To participate in Ballet exams, students must be taking a minimum of two ballet classes a week. This is to ensure that they are comfortable with the syllabus and are at a technical level that is expected.
